MS Dhoni fined 75% of his match fee; Mustafizur 50%

Both MS Dhoni and Mustafizur Rahim were fined for their on-field collision in the 1st ODI of the 3-match series in Mirpur, Dhaka.

Renowned for his calm demeanor, captain cool MS Dhoni was penalized 75% of his match fee. The fast bowler on his ODI debut was said to have deliberately moved on the path of the batsman during the 25th over of the Indian innings and was fined 50% of his match fee,

The bowler was hit hard by a steaming Dhoni, who had to give an elbow to push him aside to complete the run. Incidentally, Mustafizur came back to complete his five-wicket haul, becoming the second Bangladesh debutant after Taskin Ahmed to the landmark.
