In Round 4 of the Norway Chess 2015 competition, India's Vishwanathan Anand rolled to an outright win over Magnus Carlsen to end his long winless run against the World No.1 player.
The win has now pushed Anand to the joint third position among the ten players. Anand made the best use of Carlsen's poor run of form to thrash him to a third loss in four rounds in the tournament. Anand needed 47 moves to outsmart Carlsen, executing his plans to perfection.
Bulgaria's Veselin Topalov gained 3.5 points against Armenia's Levon Aronian to get a stranglehold at the top of the table.
