Narendra Modi tweets Tamil New Year wish in Tamil; homage to Dr. BR Ambedkar

India Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted his Tamil New Year wishes to all Tamils in his official Twitter handle.

"தமிழ் நண்பர்களுக்கு இனிய புத்தாண்டு நல்வாழ்த்துகள். வரும் ஆண்டுகளில் உங்களின் எண்ணங்கள் நிறைவேற மகிழ்ச்சி பொங்க நான் பிரார்த்திக்கிறேன்," tweeted Modi. 

Modi, currently on a German visit, also tweeted wishes to the people of Kerala, Odisha, Bengal and Assam for respective festivals celebrated across the states in their respective languages. 

PM also paid homage to Dr. BR Ambedkar on his 124th birth anniversary. 

"I bow to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary. Jai Bhim," Modi tweeted.
