Case against human rights activists for intruding forest area

The 30-member team of human rights activists who examined the execution spot of 20 woodcutters by Andhra Pradesh special taskforce are warned legal action for intruding dense forest by District Forest Officer Srinivasalu, Dinakaran reports. 

The incident has stirred a collateral anger from the human right groups across the country with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) asking for a report on the same from Andhra Pradesh government.

The team was probing the spot on Saturday and the report can be expected to be out in the public soon.
