The Hon'ble President of United States of America Barrack Obama made a three-day visit to India, accepting the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be part of the 66th Republic Day celebrations. Obama is the first American President to be honored as the chief guest on the Republic Day.

Mr. & Mrs. Obama arrived at the Palam Airport, New Delhi on Sunday, January 25th. Narendra Modi greeted him with a handshake followed by a friendly hug.

Modi and Obama met the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Obama accepts the guard of honor, led by wing commander Pooja Thakur.
