In the most peculiar turn of events, a customer has claimed that he has been served processed rat instead of chicken in one of the California outlet's of the popular fast food restaurant chain KFC.
While he was about to consume a box meal in Wilmington, California, Devorise Dixon, who initially assumed it to be a strangely-shaped chicken meal soon identified it as a rat, spotting the tail.

"As I bit into it I noticed that it was very hard and rubbery which made me look at it. As I looked down at it I noticed that it was was in a shape of a rat with a tail," he wrote in another post.
When questioned, a KFC spokesperson denies any evidence against this but no official comment has been made against the claim.
"This happened in the US and, following an immediate investigation, no evidence was found to support this claim.
"Food safety is our highest priority worldwide and we take allegations of this nature extremely seriously," he said.
However, several users on the social media have been suggesting that it is really a piece of rat-shaped chicken. Currently, the piece of meal served is safely preserved in the freezer by Dixon. The customer even uploaded a video on his served meal, which went viral along with the photos.
