Storyline
Four friends get caught in an unnecessary problem that unfolds with some suspense, thrill, romance and fun.
Cast & Crew
Aadhi, someone gifted with a well built physique and talents in acting has been used well in this dramatic action thriller that is based on true story. Nikki Galrani will soon become everyone's favorite, pulling off roles gracefully with a bit of cuteness attached.
There were so many characters involved, with considerable screen presence, but Mithun Chakraborty was to some extent underused in his Kollywood debut. Pasupathy (as a good gangster!), Aadukalam Naren (Father), Pragathi Mahavadi (Mother) and Nasser (Cop) were the other support cast.
Editing by VJ Sabu Joseph and sequences pose plenty of questions right through the course of the film. Wonder everything was intentional, appreciable work nevertheless.
The climax could have been trimmed a lot and could have even be preponed a little to avoid some lack of pace at the backend. To be frank, it killed off the sense of thrill and suspense that you catch-up midway through the second half that is cleverly planned.
The director, Aadhi's brother Sathya Prabhas Pinisetty has pulled out a decent entertainer with all commercial elements. Shanmugasundaram's camera gave that extra bit to the frames. Richa Palod, on a comeback, plays a pivotal role. Music could have been better. The track 'Nee Sonna' with light music is likable.
While it can be argued about friends living their life for one another, the level of risk Aadhi takes to save his friends is a bit unrealistic, one has to say.
Bottomline
A watchable commercial flick with some gripping twists that lack pace at times.
Marks: 6.5/10
