Yuvraj Singh blames media for twisting his words and creating a controversy

Twin World Cup winner and crowd favorite Yuvraj Singh has shot back at the media to have twisted his words and made a controversy out of nothing. There were news circulating in the media that the player might not play for India again as he continues to remain on the sidelines since the World T20, 2014.

In his official Twitter handle, the 32-year-old has clarified his comments that was made in an interview to wisdonindia.com.

Responding to whether has he ever considered the possibility to have played his last game for India, the left-hander said: "Of course, there is a possibility that I may never play for India again. I have considered that. But there is also the possibility that I might play for India again, and as long as I believe that I can come back and I have it in me, I'm going to keep pushing myself."

Clarifying himself, the Man of the Tournament of the 2011 World Cup, tweeted:

Notably, the aggressive batsman made a memorable 132 playing for Rest of the World against Marylebone Cricket Club earlier this year. He might be eyeing a comeback to the one-day side in the hope of being a part of the World Cup 2015.
