KFC says rat meal claim is a hoax; clarifies it is an odd-shaped chicken

As the KFC lovers eagerly await the climax of the deep-fried rat meal claim, the fast food chain has come up with a statement that it was a chicken. KFC also says that Devorise Dixon, the customer who bought the food is not cooperating with the outlet for any explanation.

Dixon claims to have been told by the outlet's manager that he has been served a rat and was offered a free meal for the same. KFC has further stated that the customer is not cooperating with them for explanation and examination. 

"A customer has made a serious claim against KFC and refuses to cooperate in the investigation," KFC said in a statement sent to The Huffington Post. "Based on this, and the fact that he refuses to allow anyone to see the product, we are left to believe that he intended to deceive the public with this hoax and we are considering all options."

KFC told ABC News it “has made various attempts to contact this customer, but he is refusing to talk to us directly or through an attorney. Our chicken tenders often vary in size and shape, and we currently have no evidence to support this allegation.” The chain went on to say that other photos posted by Dixon “clearly" show “it’s a piece of hand-breaded white meat chicken."
