Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently in Naxal-affected Dantewada district of Chattisgarh initiating several economic projects in the area.
Addressing the gathering Modi said: "There is no future for violence. If there is a future, it is in peace."
He also said that "Only plough on shoulders can bring development, not gun."
An ultra-mega steel plant at Dilmili village with a capacity to produce three million tonne in a year was also initiated as Modi signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up the industry.
Rowghat and Jagdalpur will be linked through a 140 km rail link estimated at around ₹24,000 Crores connecting important cities of the state including Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg with Bastar region. The MoU for the second phase of the project was also signed.

"Do not get disappointed. Even Naxal activities will be fought", the PM assured. "The macabre drama of death will end," he added.
"This is probably the first time in Bastar’s history that projects worth Rs 24,000 crore have been signed in just one hour."
