Indian Overseas Bank confiscated the properties of cinema producer Aascar Ravichandran for the liable amount of ₹96.5 Crores.
He is one among the famous producer in Tamil cinema industry. He produced many heavy budget films like Vikram's 'Anniyan' and Kamal Hasan's 'Dasavatharam'. Recently, he produced the movie 'I' and has also spent huge money on Jayan Ravi's yet to be released 'Boologam'.
Due to insufficient funds he got debit from the Indian Overseas Bank. The bank advertised on April 28 in the newspaper about the liable amount to be paid by Aascar Ravichandran and about the property acquiring. For the liable amount, bank confiscated the producer's office, home and three theatres - Santhosh, Sapna and Santham.
