Windows 10 will be launched with a new web browser named Microsoft Edge and will replace the off-colored Internet Explorer.
Microsoft made the big announcement for internet users in their Developers conference, Windows Build 2015, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco on Wednesday.
Despite not revealing many features of the new browser, Microsoft has given a short peek into the same. Edge will allow users to keep in touch of their favorites by suggesting popular web contents tailor-made to one's likings.
Users can stay updated on various issues (depending on their browsing habits) such as news stories, technology updates, weather, stock reports and so on. The redesigned page tab will also enable surfers to post on social networks without switching tabs.
Edge is also expected to provide a distraction-free reading experience. It remains to be seen it can win over the competition from Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Not surprisingly, it will be the sole browser on Windows 10 mobiles.
