BCCI robs Sunil Narine his off-spin; can continue to bowl

Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Sunil Narine has been banned from bowling off-spin in all BCCI organised matches, reports ESPNcricinfo. The bowler may continue to use his knuckle ball and the straighter one. 

Narine was reported for suspect illegal action at the end of the rain-hit match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. KKR decided not to play him in the narrow 2-run loss against Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday. 

If the bowler delivers an off-spinner in upcoming matches, the umpire will signal no-ball and the bowler will be suspended from bowling again. 

Chances are minimal for the Caribbean player's inclusion in the side who is now deprived of his primary delivery. Knight Riders might not risk picking him above the chinaman bowler Brad Hogg after the later's impressive show in Chennai.
