Salman Khan

Bollywood actor Salman Khan appeared in Jodhpur Court on Wednesday to record his statement in accordance to the Arms Act case registered against the star in 1998. The actor who was exempted from appearing in court last week on account of ill-health said he was innocent.

The star's lawyer Hastimal Sarswat said: "Salman Khan has denied all the allegations in his statement and said he has been framed."

"Court gave us time to present our side on May 4," he added.

Salman was accused of poaching of black bucks, a protected animal at the Kankani village, near Jodhpur with the illegal usage of arms. Forest department claims that the license of Salman's arms had expired at the time of the incident.
