Hit-and-run case: Interim bail for Salman Khan

Bombay High Court granted bail Salman Khan on Wednesday evening

Salman Khan was granted an interim bail for 2 days - till the 8th of May when the Bombay High Court will hear his appeal against the 5-year jail term in the hit-and-run case. 

Senior lawyer Shrikant Shivade is yet to reach the Sessions Court with the bail order from High Court. Salman will be allowed to go home once the order reaches there.

The actor was found guilty to have killed a homeless man by rash driving under the influence of alcohol in Bandra suburbans in 2002. He was sentenced to a five-year jail term earlier in the day.
