Trouble again for Kamal Haasan's UttamaVillain

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain released after a long delay last weekend, even well into Saturday evening in some areas owing to financial problems between Eros Internationals (financier) and Thiruppathi Brothers (producer).

The KDM (Key Delivery Message) is an electronic key that unlocks the encrypted film. EROS initially gave licence for three days and extended to the next two days. 

The latest news coming in says that the licence has not been extended and the noon shows on Thursday will be cancelled.

Sreedhar Pillai, a reliable man for industry updates tweeted: "BREAKING ! #Eros refuses to extend the KDM licenses to screen #UttamaVillain from today. Uncertainity prevails."

Within hours it is confirmed that the licence has been extended for Saturday and KDM will be given for future based on today's settlement.
