O.Pannerselvam wants Narendra Modi to interfere the Cauvery issue

Tamil Nadu CM O.Pannerselvam with Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Tamil Nadu Cheif Minister O.Pannerselvam met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today and stressed him to directly interfere the construction of a new dam across Cauvery in Megathathu, Karnataka. 

ANI news reports the meeting is a result of political pressure back in the state. It is also stated that the CM has requested Modi to form a special board to manage the river and look after the same. 

Other matters of importance were also discussed as they engaged in bilateral talks in the evening after the Neeti Aayog meeting earlier in the day.
