The 'God of Cricket' shines in his new 'Avatar'

New roads being laid in Puttamrajuvari Kandrika village.
A village of just 400 people with 110 families in Puttamrajuvari Kandrika, once a hard name to remember by its own state is set to attract interests from the whole India in a matter of years. The village was adopted by Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar under the 'Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana' development program by the Indian Government.

After a lot of conspiracies and criticisms, Sachin Tendulkar was honored with an MP seat in the Indian Parliament. Now, the little master has answered his critics through his laudable efforts to develop the village he adopted.

The Puttamrajuvari Kandrika in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh was once a land where the people have not even blessed with basic needs of living. Water, electricity, garbage, hospital facilities, education etc., are way superior to the people of Puttamrajuvari Kandrika, once.

But now, the village is fast improving as the residents can have almost all their necessities in their own village. Additionally, the road facilities and transports have also notably improved.

The people of the village now laud Tendulkar wholeheartedly. When the former cricketer was asked about his works, he said that he was not surprised to see the developments and also revealed that the village would be a role model when the works were finished.
