Mumbai gets a London makeover for Kaththi

According to reports, the team of Kaththi has spent a whooping 2.5 crores for recreating the ambiance of London in Mumbai for a single song shoot! The budget of the film is estimated to be above the 50-crore mark and is gearing up for a Diwali release.

However, the reason why the makers opted to spend this much money for a set where they could have actually shot the song in England remains a mystery. The Vijay-Samantha starrer has been the talking point of fans in social media along with Shankar's high profile film I for more than a month now.

Songs by Anirudh and A.R.Rahman for Kaththi and I respectively became instant hits among youngsters. Having said all, one thing is for sure. This year end will be a great time for movie fans with these two huge releases lined up.
