Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry Higher Secondary exam results announced

Tamil Nadu Board of Higher Secondary Education (TNBSE) announced the Class 12 exam results on Thursday by 10.00 am. Over 8 lakh students appeared for the exams in March and overall pass percentage stands at 90.6.

Two students - Pavithra of Vikas Vidyalaya MHSS, Tiruppur and Nivetha of Sowdeswari Vidyalaya MHSS, Coimbatore secured the first mark in the state - 1192 marks out of 1200.

Among districts, Viruthunagar registered the highest pass percentage with 97.44% success rate followed by Perambalur (97.25%) and Erode (96.06%).

In Pondicherry, two students from St.Patrick Matric Higher Secondary School jointly achieved first place with 1187 marks each.
