Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was fined 10% of his match fee for "inappropriate public comment" on an umpire's decision, informs IPL's official site.

The site reported a code of conduct breach by the wicket-keeper batsman. CSK opener Dwayne Smith was wrongly adjudged leg-before as the ball clearly struck outside the leg-stump. 

"After the Pepsi IPL Qualifier 1 match in Mumbai last evening, MS Dhoni captain of Chennai Super Kings was fined 10% of his match fee by the match referee for inappropriate public comment in relation to an umpire’s decision

"Mr. Dhoni admitted the level 1 offence (Article 2.1.7 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials) and accepted the sanction," read the media advisory.
