The Andhra Pradesh High Court during the hearing on the Tamils encounter case today queried the state government on action taken regarding the issue.
Notably, the court earlier demanded a case of murder filed against the police personnel as a counter complaint. Public prosecutor informed that the state has formed a special team to investigate the matter, but the court questioned why not a single person was arrested, 17 days since the alleged red sanders smugglers were shot down by the special task force.
"Why should not a case of unnatural death under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code be filed?" the court asked earlier.
Moreover, the court also demanded the case file to be submitted to the court on Tuesday, with the hearing scheduled for Monday.
