BSNL users can now make free pan-India calls from landlines to other landlines and mobiles phones of all service providers, the organisation announced on Thursday.
"BSNL has introduced unlimited free calling during night hours (9 pm to 7 am) from its landline phones to all landline phones and mobile phones of all service provider's network on all India basis from 1st May," BSNL said.
The revised plan will be effective for all major rural and urban plans as well as broadband users. The state-run firm will be looking to reclaim lost grounds after losing more customers than any other carriers in February.
BSNL dominates landline market with around 62.26% overall share as on February, 2015. The move is expected to bring more landline customers for them and firmly establish a supreme dominant position above competitors.
