Evolution! The world will struck with disappointments if it resists the changes and advancements. The new ones are inevitable when the old ones fade. In football too there are no exceptions. Every legend must have to make way one day or the other when the new generation rushes to take over. Here are the list of the next generation of players who are expected to make their mark in the history with their TALENT and are in their DEBUT season at the European elite.
1. Raheem Sterling - Liverpool
The sensational England international who played a key role last season for Brendon Rodger’s side has continued his run of form with the national team and is one of the most promising youngster, well, he is still a teenager at just 19.
The attacker can play in either wing, can run through the defenses with ease and with his pace he will give any defender “a hell of a day”.
2 .Ciro Immobile - Borussia Dortmond
It is a bit of a shock when you realize the fact that Immobile hadn't played in the European elite yet. The Seria A top scorer joined the Bundesliga side in the summer as a replacement to his former Robert Lewandowski who joined their bitter rivals Bayern Munich on a free transfer.
The prolific attacker scored his first goal in a Dortmund shirt which is also his debut goal in the CL against Arsenal. The link up play he had with his team mates is just a start to the show of his true talent.
3. Munir El Haddadi - Barcelona
The best outcome from the best academy of Europe in recent times. Munir El Haddadi earned his first cap for his national side for his performances in the pre-season. Subsequently he got a place in the starting line-up in Barcelona and played alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Though he had a quiet debut in the CL in a disappointing game against APOEL, the talent the teenager posses in nothing short of special.
4. Juan Bernat - Bayern Munich
The former Valencia midfielder has given a first team birth immediately after his move to the German champions. The Spaniard is no new to the Europe as he played an important role for his former side’s journey in the Europa League last season.
Since Bayern are having injury concerns it is no surprise that Bernat got the chance, but the omission of world Cup starlet Xherdon Shaqiri is a big question that Pep Guardiola should answer.
Kingsley Coman of Juventus, Luca Ocampos of Monaco, Tin Jadvaj - the Leverkusen loanee from Roma, Radja Nainggolan of Roma are other stars who are expected to make their debut in CL and also have the attention of the world who expect them to leave their marks in the famous tournament.
