If one can ignore the very average opening 15-20 minutes of the narration, a gripping tale awaits, not just to be felt, but to get scared to the core.

Storyline
A group of four youngsters with no real hold on life decide to explore a haunted bungalow. The devil follows them and their battle for survival from house arrest follows.Cast & Crew
Ajay Gnanamuthu - a former assistant of A.R.Murugadoss impresses big time on his debut alongside composer Keba Jeremiah. The later - a renowned guitarist, has struck the right chord when it mattered more.
With only 3 prominent characters - Arulnithi (Sreenivasan), Ragavan and Ramesh Tilak (Vimal) the amount of impact the screenplay generates is very high. Aravind Singh's cinematography is the other big positive. Santhanam's art work and sound engineering deserve a mention here. Bhuvan Srinivasan's editing was good too. In short, the technical team has delivered to the fullest of their potential.
The character of Madhumitha was thrusted into this script with no real reasons and necessity for comedy. Having said that, to pen a script without a female lead require guts. Visual effects were good and used only when necessary.
The movie was barely 2 hours long and the production cost should be very low. Considering that, the final output is of top quality.
Bottomline
A perfect treat for horror lovers. Should seriously avoid getting children into the cinema, very few movies could serve horror deadlier than this.Marks - 7.5/10
